The Art of Natural Settling
While many producers filter their olive oil by passing it through paper filters to remove solid particles and moisture, we at EL-LADI have chosen a more natural and delicate approach. We believe that this method better preserves the integrity and full-bodied flavor of our oil.
Instead of filtering, we allow the freshly pressed olive oil to rest, letting the fine olive particles naturally settle to the bottom. The clear oil is then carefully siphoned from the top, leaving the sediment behind. This meticulous process ensures that our olive oil retains a greater amount of its naturally occurring antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and a wide spectrum of both water-soluble (polar) and fat-soluble (non-polar) polyphenols.
